German Hot Potato Salad

Ingredients
- 6 medium potatoes
- 4 strips bacon
- ¼ cup chopped onion
- ¼ cup chopped celery
- 1 chopped dill pickle
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup white vinegar
- ½ teaspoon dry mustard
- ⅛ teaspoon paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1 Boil potatoes in skins until tender and peel while hot.

Cook bacon in skillet with onion and celery until golden and crumbly.- 3
Add pickle and potato slices.- 4
Heat to boiling: 1 cup water, ½ cup vinegar, ½ teaspoon sugar, ¼ teaspoon dry mustard, 1/8 teaspoon paprika, salt and pepper to taste.- 5
